Disney and Pixar have announced a new original animated film called “Luca,” which will open in theaters next summer. As the official Twitter announcement reveals, the film will tell the story of “a boy named Luca as he experiences an unforgettable summer in a seaside town on the Italian Riviera.” Variety reports that Luca is set to leap into theaters on June 18, 2021.
