“The idea was originally presented to us as a contest,” Jordaan Arledge – president and editor-in-chief of Arledge comics – recalls. “A project – really, any project – to keep our attention from the terrors 2020 presented us with.” Arledge goes on to say, “As the idea developed, we just knew this book was going to be more than just a distraction. It was an opportunity. Not only to give back, but an opportunity to come together as a community. 2020 didn’t beat us. We’re still here, still creating.”
