The stars of “Call Me By Your Name,” are both having a moment, albeit two careers moving in two different directions. Armie Hammer, following a “cannibal” social media scandal has been fired (not excited as first reported) from most of his projects and his agency, WME has dropped him like a bad habit. Timothée Chalamet, on the other hand, his career keeps rocketing upwards, working with auteur and auteur and being highly in demand (he’s currently shooting Adam McKay’sDon’t Look Up,” starring Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio). Next up for Chalamet, an immediate appearance in an “Edward Scissorhands” sequel, or at least, an “Edward Scissorhands”-themed Super Bowl commercial.
