Even after the console restocks following launch day, it’s been increasingly difficult to find a PS5 available to purchase directly from a major retailer. Both next-gen consoles sold out almost instantly whenever they were made available all through Black Friday. Now it’s Cyber Monday, and with new sets of deals and holiday sales kicking off over the weekend, it makes sense to wonder when stores like Walmart, GameStop, Target, and Best Buy will have more PS5 units available for shoppers. A tweet from Sony confirmed that “more inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year,” but that doesn’t make the scramble to get your hands on a PS5 console any easier.
