“Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War” is here. It’s loud, vibey, conspiratorial. All your friends are here: Ronald Reagan shows up, as does Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev, in a montage of archival footage. There are spills and thrills and spy capers that more often than not explode into flashy roller coaster rides. It is “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” by way of Michael Bay. It is also, like so many things this year, incredibly janky — at least so far, several hours into day one of the game.
