Escape From Tarkov patch 12.8 is now live following last week’s delay. Like the last major update, there is no wipe associated with 12.8. The update size appears to be about 675 MB, which is smaller than July’s update, but the changes are still significant. The addition of a heavy bleeding status effect is particularly important to note, but 12.8 also adds the compass, a handful of new weapons and skills, and more.
