Normally, when we talk about films being released after a long delay, the word “pandemic” is mentioned. That’s because, for the past year, studios have been pushing films because theaters aren’t open at full capacity and the pandemic is still wrecking lives. But in the case of “City of Lies,” the film has been delayed since 2018, and last I checked, COVID wasn’t a thing back in 2018. But Johnny Depp sure was being talked about, huh?
